This antique French mirror features a beautifully carved frame and beveled glass with distressed mirror. The frame has ornate floral carvings and details along the sides and bottom edge and a very ornately decorated top edge, including a detailed cartouche, gallery edge and laurel leaf details. At each upper corner is a carved face framed with scrollwork and additional floral details below. The piece also has various rosette details, finials and feathers above the head of the carved child at the top. The glass is beveled and the finish of the glass is quite distressed, resulting in a beautifully textured look. The coloring of the painted finish is a very pale gray-toned white with some silver details on some of the carvings.

This piece measures 33.25" W (at top) x 61.5" H x 8" D (depth taken from cartouche). Surface wear and minor losses to the detailed decoration are present. Back of mirror is uncovered.
