This vintage painting was sourced in Spain and features a scene of the nativity. Several robed figures surround the infant Christ as angels watch above. This painting has a very deep charcoal to black background and bright colors in the figures. The piece is painted on wood and has been framed (no glass) in a gilt and woodgrain finished framing. The exact age is unknown, but likely mid-century.

Measures 31"W x 51.5"H (includes frame) and the frame itself is 1.5"D. There is some light surface wear to the frame and some separation at the joint in the upper left corner of the frame (shown). The back has a description in Spanish indicating the title is the Nativity. A signature was not found, but could possibly be covered by the framing.
