This is a known pattern from English silversmiths Falstaff called "Neptune" featuring sea ship imagery along with the god of the sea himself, mermaids and mermen and a number of sea creatures. Fabulous details are present all along this velvet-backed piece which can be displayed flat or leaned in an easel. Makers mark is on edge of piece and shown.

Measures 9" diameter and 0.25"H. Surface wear is present, but plating seems to be in good condition.
