This vintage candelabra is crafted in cast iron and made to look like a beautiful flowering branch on a base of a log... this technique is known as Faux Bois or "False Wood" and was popularized in France about 150 years ago, although typically used to describe pieces made from cast stone. This cast iron piece is delicately detailed and sculptural, accommodating three standard tapers or small pillar candles, with some copper accents on the metal. Beautiful as a centerpiece or on the mantle.

Measures 18"H x 18"W x 7"D. Base measures 12"W x 7"D. Light surface wear is present. This piece was sourced in France but the origin is unknown.
