German Red Stag from Eulenburg Hunt of 1892 with Original Fürst-Pless Hunt Horn
Historic red stag trophy taken during Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany's Eulenburg hunt of 1892 in Liebenburg, Germany and decorated with an original Bavarian offiicer's wappen from the officer's pickelhaube or helmet and the original fürst pless hunting Horn used in the hunt.
The Fürst-Pless-Horn was named in 1880 by Hans Heinrich XI., Prince of Pless, the Colonel Jägermeister under the Emperors Wilhelm I and Wilhelm II. Hand-carved linden wood replacement plaque featuring Italian Polychrome painted technique.Dimensions:Plaque is 26"H x 19"W
