This antique Spanish gilt frame mirror has beautiful, hand carved details including an open cartouche and open frame, revealing the mirrored glass below. The piece is in good condition, but the finish does have patination and discoloration present throughout. The interior edge of the frame has a beaded accent which is surrounded by small floral "stations" and an outside gilt plaster edge with textured carvings. The decoration at the top features scroll work and both a deeper, bronze-gold finish and a brighter gold satin finish.

Measures: 18" W x 32" H x 3" D (depth is taken from top). The back has a single loop-hook screw, but additional hanging hardware can be attached to hang this mirror, or it can be leaned on top of a piece of furniture or mantel (fireplace). Minor losses to the frame are most present at joints at the corners as well as the bottom edge of the mirror.
