We discovered this unframed canvas in Belgium, but it is French in origin. The subject appears to be three women on the shore in the foreground and a young girl with a horse in a body of water, such as a river, with rolling hills and trees in the background. The tones are beautiful blues-- turquoise, cobalt, navy, teal, soft greens, and earthy browns and yellows.

Unframed canvas measures 20"H x 24"W. 

No signature was found, but there is some info on the back of the canvas. The style and age of both the canvas and the stretcher indicate it has age to it and there appear to be two repairs to the canvas (patches on the back). Crazing in the surface of the paint throughout as well as some losses to the paint in various areas. Please see all images for details.
