This antique French Louis Philippe mirror was discovered in France and features a beautiful scallop edge detail around the frame and a beaded edge at center. The gilt is patinated to a soft satin finish with rich antique gold tones. The glass is original and has some slight spotting present (shown). Small losses to the scallop edge are present, with the most significant loss to the lower left hand corner. This area has been retouched with a gilt restoration product (last image) to improve the look.
