This stunning, miniature antique keepsake box crafted with a brass body and inlaid onyx top, was sourced in Italy. The details in this piece are beautifully crafted, from the appliqué decorations on the outside to the silk-lined interior (in purple, no less!). We love imagining what a piece like this may have been used for in the past... perhaps to present jewelry or other keepsake. The box has three round feet and you can see the inset onyx inside the lid, once opened.

Measures 2 5/8"L x 2"W x 1 1/2"H. Light surface wear. The silk inside has become deteriorated, but is to be expected considering the age and use.
