This is an antique French oak commode featuring curved-front drawer with brass pulls and escutcheons. There are three drawers which are on rails, and each opens and closes smoothly. There is some fluting on the corners and the top is finished with a beveled edge. All four legs have paw-foot details and the front bottom apron features a shell-shaped cartouche at the center along with scrollwork. Inlaid panel sides and curved front corners all come together in a beautiful, well-appointed design.
