This wonderfully functional demi-lune console table unfolds to reveal a generously sized round table that has been hand-painted in a distressed, greige finish. The table has four legs, one of which slides out to support the table when unfolded. This piece is likely French, but was sourced in Belgium. The center leg slides out on an attached caster when needed. Both the top of the console when folded and opened has the same finish. Three hinges at the center of the table are mounted very discretely and are only slightly noticeable when opened. All four legs have matching casters.
Console dimensions (when folded) are 49"W x 24.5"D x 29"H. Table dimensions (when opened) are 49" diameter and 28.5"H. The piece is hinged and the center, the center back leg moves as part of a sliding "drawer" mechanism, and provides a space to tuck items away, such as a table runner or even a secret hiding space (shown in images). There are losses and surface wear present in the finish, as well as a seam on the inside (top of piece when open as a table) which has opened up slightly, which you can see in the attached images.
