An extraordinary ceramic artist from Berlin, Germany, Kuhn Keramik is one of our very favorite workshops in Europe.  These handcrafted rabbit sculptures are part of their new Alice (in Wonderland) collection and are great as an objet by themselves or paired as bookends.  Alice - the teaparty of the march hare comes to life. Alice cups, beakers and plates are common at first glance, but then they start to move: beetles crawl over the plate, pink cups got the print "poison" - the seemingly idyllic world gets out of control and an humoresque touch emerges. 

Ceramist Bernhard Kuehn is the artist behind this over-the-top collection of porcelain. The perfectly imperfect shape of the coffee cup, with fun design, prevents the piece from being too precious. Because of the hand-made nature of theses pieces, the dimensions may vary slightly. Each item is hand-built, not thrown, with walls that are dimpled with impressions left by potters' fingers, adding to the charm.
