This antique French oak buffet features two side doors and a center drawer for ample storage. The narrow depth of this piece is ideal for dining spaces or as an entry or hallway piece, or could be used as a media storage piece. The doors both have locks with included keys and each interior space has a sturdy shelf. The interior has been left as it was originally found, but the exterior has had the original finish stripped and it's ready to be waxed, stained or painted, should you wish to do so. The front panels feature decorative carving and the front edges and legs also have carved details. The top has been beveled and rounded at the corners.
This buffet measures 60" W x 18.75" D x 33.5" H. There is surface wear and discoloration present as well as a slight bend in the top of the piece from age and use. On the left front leg just below the edge of the corner, there is a hole in the wood likely from woodworm, but there is no current woodworm activity. Doors open and close easily, locks operate, and the drawer shows dovetail construction. Please see images for full details.
