This heavyweight champagne bucket was found in France and is stamped "CARMEN" on the bottom. Although we were not able to identify the maker, this is a very simple rendition of a traditional champagne or ice bucket typical of hotels and restaurants, made to withstand years of usage. We'd love to know the celebrations for which this piece has held a bottle of bubbly. Ring handles on both sides with a light ribbed detail at the top and near the bottom of the piece. 

Measures 9"W (handle to handle) x 7.25"D x 8.2"H. Surface wear and patination are present as well as some dents in the surface.
