This beautiful cast plaster statue was uncovered in Paris. The flowing robes of the female figure depicted captured our eye first, as she looks ready to take flight on the wind. Her hands are placed softly at her chest and she is standing barefoot, with a lock of peace on her face. The piece is signed and it appears that there are words inscribed in the base, but we were not able to completely translate them as some have been worn away.
