  • 19th century Habsburg roe deer trophy on stand with the royal cypher of Emperor Franz Josef of Austria on the skull. This trophy is mounted on a bronze and wood stand with a round base. This trophy is part of a large grouping of Habsburg trophies originating from Eckartsau Castle in the Southern Austrian Alps, a popular hunting Schloss of the Habsburg Family.

    Measures as follows: This trophy measures approximately 15" H x 8" D x 4.75" W. The base is 4.75" round. This is the last available piece in this style.

    Part of The European Hunt collection presented by Laurier Blanc, this collection of antique hunting trophies from Royal & Noble European families has been examined and appraised by James Supp of Coronado Trading Co., who is best known for his work with the PBS production "Antiques Roadshow."
