These charming stoneware lids that once topped containers which held potted meats make fun accents to your tabletop decor. The transfer labels were applied before the glazing and firing, making them remarkably durable and resistant to fading. Use of this type of containers dates back to the 1800s and were used to package all manner of products through the 1920s.
