Antique French carved gilt mirror with oak leaf and acorn detail that we discovered during our recent time in Europe. Exquisitely carved ashwood and edges of mirror are distressed in certain areas given its age and use over time. Believed to date to the early to mid-1800s and has qualities of both Rococo and Baroque styles making this a transitional piece given the bold and beautiful detailed carvings of leaves and acorns.
Overall measurements 101 inches H x 75.5 inches W x 5 3/4 inches D. Mirror itself measures 82 inches H x 56 3/4 inches W and is edged in gold with a smaller width gilt silver detail as well. Can certainly be hung either vertically or horizontally and we really love it styled as a floor mirror. Expert crating service included in the shipping cost of the piece (including insurance) and please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for a quote.
