This stone centerpiece is actually made up of two separate pieces, the square base is cast stone and the bowl on top is cast hypertufa, which is an expanded stone that is slightly lighter than concrete. The bowl has been piled high with preserved moss, for a look that is simply stunning.
This centerpiece has a total height of 17 inches and a diameter of 18 inches. The height from the base to the lip of the bowl is 13", so the moss accounts for about 4" of the total height. The moss can be removed or replaced with other greenery, or used as a planter. The base and the bowl are two separate pieces that are not permanently attached.
Note: The bowl has some edges that are distressed, which is intended by the artist and we feel contribute to the beauty of the piece. See images for full details.
