This is an antique oak cabinet sourced in France that has been stripped. The oak revealed shows wonderful aging and the details of construction are more evident as seen in the dovetailing on the drawers. There are two drawers and one interior shelf, which has been lined in black and red flannel as well as the bottom of the cabinet (some is missing, and this can all be removed). There is also an installed task light inside the top of the interior (shown), but this is not a permanent attachment and can be removed. We do not know if it's working as it has not been tested due to the European plug.
The apron on this cabinet is plain on the front, but has a somewhat wave-like shape that echoes the paneling on the doors. This carved pattern continues on the sides of the cabinet. The hinges on the doors show rust, but still function well. Once the doors are opened, you can see there is no center portion, allowing full access to the shelves within, making storage in this piece quite convenient.
Overall measurements are 54.5" W x 23" D x 40" H. See images for full details.
