  • An exquisite 19th century Red Stag hunting trophy believed to be taken by Frederick II, the Grand Duke of Baden, Germany. Frederick Augustus II was also known as the Grand Duke of Oldenburg. The mount sports his personal wappen and his personal Hirschfanger with portepee.

    Frederick II married Princess Elizabeth Anna of Prussia, daughter of Princess Maria Anna of Anhalt-Dessau and Price Frederick Charles of Prussia. After her death, he married Elizabeth Alexandrine of Mecklenburg-Schwerin.
