  • One historic "damhirsch" (fallow deer) and eight "rehbock" (roe deer). The fallow deer and roe trophies are mounted to their original hand-carved Black Forest wooden plaques.

    The inscriptions read: "Lanzenfeld". Baron Karl Franz Ferdinand Torresani of Lanzenfeld and Componero was an Austrian soldier and author of military novels. He was thought to have hunted at the Habsburgs' favorite hunting castle of Eckartsau in the Southern Austrian Alps.

    Part of The European Hunt Collection, this collection of antique hunting trophies has been examined and appraised by James Supp of Coronado Trading Co., who is best known for his work with the PBS production "Antiques Roadshow".

    All pieces in this collection have been examined and appraised and come with a Certificate of Authenticity document.
