19th century fallow deer from Emperor Franz Joseph's castle at Eckartsau in the Southern Austrian Alps, a favorite hunting schloss of the Habsburg Royal family. This historic hunting trophy features a replacement hand-carved linden wood plaque with an Italian polychrome gilding technique and original wappen of Kaiser Wilhelm I (from the officer's pickelhaube or helmets). Certificate of Authenticity included.
This piece has a total length of 31 inches, the antler spread is 28 inches wide and the depth of the piece is 23 inches (from wall to antler tip).
