This outdoor table is crafted with a very simple metal base and a wood-slat top. The entire pieces is very distressed, from the flaking green paint of the base to the highly weathered wood top. The piece dates to the 1920s and would work well in a garden, on a patio, or even indoors if you're partial to the weathered look. The edges of the slatted wood top appear to have upholstery nails still embedded, so perhaps this table was once covered with an outdoor-appropriate canvas or leather, but no fabric remains. We feel the pitted and worn wood along with the distressed paint of the base only adds to the charm of the piece.
