This double mount trophy features both a Red Stag and a Pyrenees chamois mounted on an original black forest plaque, decorated with a Napoleonic gorget and French Medal of Honor. The carvings on this plaque include a to-scale carved Pyrenees Chamois head above the half-cap skull of the Red Stag Deer, which sits above a carved bird whose wings support the skull. It is flanked by wonderfully detailed carvings of fruit, squash, berries, and flowers. The exceptionally executed chamois gracing the top is an aesthetic bonus as it truly sets everything off into a realm of elegance.
Measures 52"H x 51"W x 26"D. See images for details.
