  • An extraordinary grouping of European Mount Roe Trophies, attributed to the Bavarian Kings. These 19th century full-cap Roe Trophies are mounted on hand-carved Black Forest plaques, and are decorated with an 1813 Bavarian cross wappen on the bottom of each trophy (at the center of each cross is the year 1813). The plaques feature detailed oak leaf and acorn carvings, a common Black Forest theme.

    The plaques measure 11"H x 6"W each and the trophies range in height from 14 - 16"H. Pricing is per trophy, and each piece is available for purchase separately, or as a grouping.     Part of The European Hunt collection, this collection of antique hunting trophies from German and Austrian royalty and houses of nobility has been examined and appraised by James Supp of Coronado Trading Co., who is best known for his work with the PBS production "Antiques Roadshow." All pieces in this collection have been examined and appraised and come with a Certificate of Authenticity document.
