This is a rectangular, ornate giltwood mirror sourced in Belgium. The bright, yellow-gold gilt overlay frames this piece with decorations concentrated at the corners. The mirrored area between the decorations also has a smoky glass effect that is not present on the main center portion of the mirror, and so we believe it was likely added with intention as part of the decoration. This mirror can be hung either portrait or landscape orientation and looks beautiful above a piece of furniture.
Measures 40" x 33" x 2"D. Light surface wear present, but overall good condition. -
