Discovered in France, this classic Willy Guhl handkerchief planter is cast with a very strong fibrous cement and is suitable for indoors or out. Resembling a handkerchief being held in your palm, this planter has a bowl-shaped center for planting and a fabric-like form making it a clever, attention grabbing vessel.
Measures 29" x 28" x 8"H and with cement finish and single hole drainage at bottom. There is age to the finish, and we see this natural forming patina as enhancing the beauty of this European garden art. Please also see the image showing the planters in place on a table with greenery for scale and an idea of how the piece looks with a plant in place. The bottom also appears to have a manufacturer's mark, as shown in the images.
