This late 19th century Louis Philippe mirror has an ornately carved frame featuring a ribbon and leaf detail, along with a beaded detail that seems to be suspended between the spirals of fabric. Truly stunning, the aged gilt has hints of red and browns throughout. There is some spotting on the mirror, so please see all images. This piece works well on top of a commode or mantel, but could also be leaned on a low bench or hung on the wall.
Measures: 60" H x 38" W x 3" D. Spotting in mirror, some cracks in frame. Some gilt missing/chipped at bottom of mirror. Please see images for full details.
