This is a carved wood mirror originating from Belgium with floral details along the frame and two lion heads at each top corner, holding brass rings. The carvings are varied and appear floral, with the exception of the lions. The rings are removable for transport. This mirror has beveled glass and could easily be used as a wall mirror, floor mirror, or leaned on top of a large furniture piece as shown. This mirror has some losses and the original finish has been removed. As such, it is easy to stain or wax to match your existing pieces or seal with a clear varnish.
Overall measurements are 61" H x 34.5" W. The top of the mirror is 3.75" D and the bottom is 2.5" D. There are some places where the trim around the mirror has developed some gaps. There is surface wear along the entire piece and at the edges. The mirror has some discoloration and debris. -
